RACE FORMATS
Four distinct ways to drive on TrackDayZee - from the open flow of the highway-style Open-Track to the full Grand Prix format of a Cup weekend. Each format carries its own rules, RP rewards, and vehicle eligibility.
OPEN TRACK
The track never closes. Drive daily and compete with others in a live, persistent environment. The track functions as a high-speed highway - right lane for slower traffic, left lane strictly for fast laps and overtaking.
ALL VERIFIED CARS
Any car with Verified status can access Open-Track at any time.
HIGHWAY RULES
Right lane = slow/cool-down. Left lane = fast lap only. Stay predictable.
EARN RPs PER LAP
Every clean lap awards Respect Points. Build your bank to unlock events.
NO RACING
Wheel-to-wheel racing is prohibited. Move to a TrackDay or Cup to battle.
BLUE FLAG RULE
If a faster driver approaches from behind on the left, the slower driver must remain in the right lane. Stay predictable - do not move left to help.
NO CONSENT TO RACE
Competitive wheel-to-wheel racing is prohibited in Open-Track. If you want a battle, enter a TrackDay or Cup event.
NO STOPPING
Stopping on track is strictly prohibited. If you need to stop, pull into a designated Safe Zone or return to the pits.
TRACK DAY
Official events hosted by TrackDayZee for drivers to enjoy, drive, and earn extra RPs. Some TrackDays use strict vehicle selection; others are open to any class.
LAPS OF HONOR
Semi-competitive scheduled sessions. Hot Laps are recorded for classification.
COOL-DOWN PROTOCOL
After a Hot Lap, move to the right lane and reduce speed to 60%. Allow brakes and engine to cool.
VEHICLE PARITY
The Race Director (RD) may apply ballast or restrict tire types in Limited Verified events to keep classes competitive.
RP BONUS
Extra RPs awarded for fastest lap in your class. Minimum time threshold required to qualify for RP bonuses.
CUP EVENTS
Organized by trusted Cup Organizers (CO), cups are competitive race events each with their own rules - all compliant with TrackDayZee league standards. An RP Entry Fee is required. Finish the cup clean and you get it back plus a completion bonus.
THE GOLDEN RULE
If you cause a collision that ends another driver's race, you are disqualified (DSQ) and your RPs for that event are forfeited - no appeal.
TWO-MINUTE RULE
Drivers must be in the server 2 minutes before the Green Flag. Late arrivals start from the Pit Lane. No exceptions.
RP BUY-IN
Every Cup has an RP Entry Fee. If you are disqualified, this fee is lost. If you finish, you gain it back with a completion bonus.
THE LEAGUE
The full league structure includes different Cups and events organized by trackworthy race directors. The League covers championship seasons with overall standings, class-specific awards, and the Constructors' Championship for teams.
