RESPECT POINTS
RPs are the currency of trust on TrackDayZee. They gate your access to events, cups, and driver classes - and they are earned or lost entirely by how you drive.
THE RP ENGINE
SAFETY GATE
RPs keep reckless drivers out of premium events, cups, and trackdays. Low RPs = restricted access.
ENTRY FEE
RPs are spent to enter cups, trackdays, and driver classes. Finish clean and get them back plus a bonus.
DRIVER RANKING
Your RP total determines your RP Rank - a placement band that shows other drivers and organizers who you are.
CAREER CURRENCY
Accumulate RPs to unlock higher licence classes and access exclusive elite events.
YOUR RANK
RP Ranks are placement bands that define where you stand in the league hierarchy. Every event entry requirement is stated as a minimum RP Rank. Ranks advance automatically as your cumulative RP total crosses each threshold.
| RANK | RP RANGE | LICENCE ACCESS | EVENT ACCESS |
|---|---|---|---|
| ROOKIE | 0 – 499 RP | Class D | Open Track only |
| AMATEUR | 500 – 1,499 RP | Class C | Open Track + Trackdays |
| SENIOR | 1,500 – 3,499 RP | Class B | All Trackdays + Beginner Cups |
| PRO | 3,500 – 6,999 RP | Class A | All Cups + League Events |
| ELITE | 7,000+ RP | Class E (inv.) | All + Elite-Only Events |

Best overtake, save, or lap of the event
50 clean Open Track laps × 10 RP = 500 RP - exactly the cost of a Class C (Amateur) licence. This is your first major milestone as a Rookie.
UNLOCK YOUR LICENCE
Driver licences are purchased with RPs once you hit the required rank threshold. Your personal RP balance is deducted at the time of purchase. Special classes have separate conditions.

BUY-IN TABLE
Every cup has an RP entry fee deducted when you register. Finish the event clean (no DSQ) and the full fee is returned plus a 25% completion bonus. Being disqualified means the fee is permanently lost.
| CUP TIER | MIN RANK | ENTRY FEE | ON CLEAN FINISH | ON DSQ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BEGINNER CUP | AMATEUR | 25 RP | 25 + 6 = 31 RP | −25 RP |
| AMATEUR CUP | AMATEUR | 75 RP | 75 + 19 = 94 RP | −75 RP |
| SENIOR CUP | SENIOR | 150 RP | 150 + 37 = 187 RP | −150 RP |
| PRO CUP | PRO | 300 RP | 300 + 75 = 375 RP | −300 RP |
| ELITE CUP | ELITE | 500 RP | 500 + 125 = 625 RP | −500 RP |
ENTRY FEE REFUND
A clean finish (no DSQ, no abandonment) always returns your full entry fee regardless of finishing position.
COMPLETION BONUS
25% of the entry fee is added on top of the refund as a bonus for staying in and completing the event.
DSQ = TOTAL LOSS
Disqualification means the entire entry fee is forfeited. You also do not earn any lap or position RPs for that event.
LOSE RESPECT
Penalties are issued by Stewards Officers (SO) and applied immediately. The severity level determines the deduction range - Stewards use discretion within each band based on intent and impact.
Minor mistakes with low or no impact on other drivers.
Avoidable incidents, deliberate interference, or repeated rule breaks.
Dangerous conduct risking safety or ending another driver's event. May trigger rank demotion.
Intentional or malicious conduct. RP balance reset to zero. League ban issued.
MALICIOUS CONDUCT
Revenge hitting, toxic chat, or intentional crashing results in an immediate full RP Reset, league suspension, and potential permanent ban. No appeals for Extreme-level offences.
THREE STRIKES POLICY
SELF-CORRECTION RULE
If you overtake by going off track or by making contact, you have 30 seconds to safely return the position. Voluntarily giving it back causes the Steward to waive any further penalty.
RANK DEMOTION RISK
A Heavy or Extreme penalty can drop your RP total below a rank threshold, locking you out of events that require that rank. Consistent clean driving is the only way to recover.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Do I lose my RPs when I enter a cup?
No - the entry fee is held, not lost. Finish without disqualification and the full fee is returned plus a 25% completion bonus. Only a DSQ causes permanent fee loss.
Can I enter Open-Track with zero RPs?
Yes. Open Track is free to access at any rank - it is how you build your initial RP bank. Complete 50 clean laps (+500 RP) and you can purchase your Class C licence.
How quickly can I reach Class C from zero?
50 clean Open Track laps at +10 RP each = 500 RP, exactly the Class C cost and Amateur rank threshold. Mix in Trackday laps (+15 RP) to get there faster.
What happens to my rank after a Heavy penalty?
If a −50 to −100 RP deduction drops you below a rank threshold you will lose access to events requiring that rank. Only rebuilding your RP total restores access.
Is the Team RP pool separate from my personal RPs?
Yes. Team RPs are tracked as a standalone pool - fully separate from your personal balance. Entry fees, licences, and rank are all calculated from personal RPs only.
Can I appeal a penalty deduction?
Light and Medium penalties can be submitted for Steward review within 24 hours. Heavy and Extreme rulings are final. Accepted appeals restore the deducted RPs.
